After more than twenty years in global energy markets, Eiman Alian has announced his retirement, concluding a career that spanned trading and leadership roles across some of the industry’s most respected organizations.
Beginning his career at Goldman Sachs in 2006, Alian went on to help build and manage trading businesses across global crude oil and refined products markets, holding senior positions at Vitol, Macquarie and, most recently, Quantix Commodities.
Reflecting on the milestone, Alian expressed gratitude for the opportunities, challenges, and relationships that defined his career.
“Energy has given me far more than I could have imagined when I first entered the industry twenty years ago,” said Alian. “I have had the privilege of working alongside exceptional colleagues, mentors, and partners while participating in some of the most dynamic and transformative periods in modern energy markets.”

Following his retirement, Alian plans to focus on private investing, including opportunities across energy, infrastructure, technology, and real estate. Quantix wishes him well in his future endeavors.
